Our story

We're building the community we wish we'd had.

Two founders, one marriage, and a hard-won belief: your wellbeing and your relationship should never be the price of your success.

The honest version

We didn't set out to build a community.

We set out to build businesses. And like a lot of couples, we were good at it, good enough that the work could have quietly crept into everything: date nights turning into strategy meetings, vacations with a laptop open, the business following us to bed.

But early on we made one decision we never went back on: the relationship comes first. Not as a nice idea, as a rule. When the business got heavy, and it did, in the hard seasons every couple hits, we protected the marriage before we protected the growth.

That priority is the reason both are still standing. It's also where everything we teach came from: the boundaries, the roles, and the rhythms that let us keep building without letting the business run our whole life.

"We always put the marriage first, and that's exactly what let the business last through the hard seasons."

Why us

Builders first, and we've lived the hard part.

We're not theorists. Through Clark and Aldine, we've built and run real businesses side by side for 15 years: the wins, the payroll, the hard seasons, all of it.

That's the difference: we're not handing you advice from the outside. We're handing you the systems and the support we built to grow without ever putting the business ahead of the marriage, so you keep your health, your peace, and your relationship as you go.

What came out of it

Everything we learned became a system.

The boundaries, habits, and rhythms that pulled us out of the overwhelm became the Build Together OS, the operating system we now teach for running your Life, Home, Business, and Mind and Body as one.

What we believe

Your wellbeing comes before the next milestone

  • Your mental health isn't a luxury you earn after the business works.
  • Growth should never quietly cost you your marriage.
  • You do your best work when you feel safe and understood.
  • Boundaries create freedom, for the business and for you.
  • Systems exist to give you time back, not fill it.
  • No one should carry this alone.
Beyond the business

The two people behind it

Because you should know who you're building alongside.

Michael Gutelli

Michael

I'm one half of Build Together, and one half of the marriage at the center of it. After years of building companies, I stopped being impressed by growth that comes at the expense of your health or your relationship. We always put ours first, and it's the reason the business worked. What I care about now is simple: helping other couples build something that lasts, without losing themselves or each other along the way.

Danielle Gutelli

Danielle

I'm the other half of Build Together, and of the marriage at the heart of it. Building alongside Michael has been the best thing we've done, and keeping us first, through every season, is what made it possible. That's exactly why I'm so protective of other couples' peace while they grow. My whole heart in this work is making sure no one loses themselves, or each other, on the way up.

Why "Build Together"

Because no one should carry it alone.

When you build alongside the person you love, the highs are higher and the weight is heavier, and there's nowhere to clock out. Most business advice pretends that part doesn't exist.

Build Together is built for the reality of it: the stress, the boundaries, the shared calendar, and the honest conversations that keep both the business and the relationship healthy. A room where you can drop the performance and just be understood.

Our promise

A space safe enough to be yourself.

Everything we make exists to help you build something that lasts, with the person you're building it with, without losing your health, your peace, or yourself along the way.

Build Together is a community and coaching, a place to feel understood, not a substitute for professional care. If you're struggling, please reach out to a licensed professional; we'll always encourage it.
